Graduated in Fine Art from Exeter College of Art 1983. Printmaking and Drawing my media at the time. Began working in Archaeology in 1985 for Exeter Field Unit, moved on to Wessex Archaeology briefly and then to Worcestershire for a major excavation project in the city centre in 1988. Since then have been employed in commercial archaeological Illustration for archaeological sites of a wide variety of period and type, encompassing many aspects of graphic archaeology ranging from site survey, artefact illustration through to presentation and exhibition work. Illustration techniques and media include pencil, pen, CAD and GIS. Digital media – principally Adobe and AutoDesk software, but also experienced in ArcView.
Specialties: Original archaeological work in AutoCAD developing use in site recording and post excavation illustration – Illustration of prehistoric pottery and flint and stone tools.
