Jennie Anderson is an experienced freelance illustrator based in the south-west of England, undertaking commissioned work both locally and internationally. Jennie specialises in archaeological reconstruction illustration, finds illustration, and information graphics. She trained initially as a fine artist, before employment for fifteen years as a researching cataloguer in the Historic England Archive. In 2009, Jennie completed an MA in Archaeological Illustration and was awarded a Distinction for her work. She has created artwork for clients including The National Trust, Natural England, English Heritage, The Churches Conservation Trust, Oxfordshire and Lancashire County Councils, Avon Archaeological Trust, Oxford Castle, and many independent authors. Wessex Archaeology Ltd also employed Jennie for five years as part of their talented Graphics Studio team, through which she further developed her range of specialised illustration skills, and she worked as a finds illustrator on Stanford University’s Catalhoyuk Research Project at the excavation site in Konya, Turkey.
